About Clayton Excavation and Tree Services, LLC

The country around Gwaltneys rolls — clay banks, creek bottoms, pasture running up to a treeline that has stood there longer than the fences have. Trees on ground like this fall in ways flat land never teaches, and Clayton Excavation and Tree Services, LLC settles the drop in its head before the first cut goes in. They remove what is leaning wrong or dying back, trim limbs off buildings and lanes, prune to keep a hardwood balanced, and clear the wreckage weather leaves behind. It is loud, dusty, deliberate work, and the good part is the quiet at the end of it. A yard swept, a track re-opened, the wood stacked somewhere it can dry.
