About Chavez Landscaping

Morning in Gulf starts low and white, fog lying along the Deep River bottoms until the sun burns a hole through it. Chavez Landscaping is out in that hour, ramp down and dew still heavy at the pasture edge. The work is mowing, string trimming and edging on Chatham County lawns — the kind of cutting that leaves a straight shoulder where grass meets gravel. By the time the fog lifts, a yard that was shaggy at seven reads clean and level, every line following the lay of the ground. It is a small pleasure, and it holds all day.
