5 Alarm Lawn Care

About 5 Alarm Lawn Care

Summer mornings in Greenville begin with fog lifting off the Tar River, thin as woodsmoke and gone by eight. 5 Alarm Lawn Care works that early window, when the air still has some give in it — mowing, edging along the walks, running the string trimmer down fence lines, then blowing every clipping back into the turf. Bermuda grass in this soil grows like it has somewhere to be, so the rhythm is weekly and steady, from March green-up to the last cut in October. What they are after is the look from the street: stripes laid straight, a sharp edge where grass meets concrete, the driveway swept bare. Greenville and the towns around it, one yard at a time.
