Guilford Garden & Lawn

About Guilford Garden & Lawn

There is an old-growth quiet in the woods out past Guilford College — tulip poplars going straight up, the ground littered with last year's leaves, everything smelling faintly of cool dirt. Guilford Garden & Lawn brings a gardener's eye to Greensboro properties: turf mowed and edged, yes, but also beds weeded and defined, shrubs kept in scale, mulch worked in where the clay needs help. Autumn is the season this part of the county gives most generously, and the leaf work runs from late October into December. Spring brings the reset — cleanups, fresh edges, a hard line drawn between lawn and border. A garden and a lawn keep each other honest when both are tended.
