About Chuck's Landscaping

July in Lindley Park announces itself around four in the afternoon: the western sky stacks up gray, the air goes still, and then the whole neighborhood smells like rain on hot pavement. Chuck's Landscaping learns to read that clock, getting the cuts in early and the blowers running before the first drops hit. The work is mowing, string trimming, edging, hedge work and hauling off the pile — plain services done with an eye on the weather. Greensboro's summer grass grows in bursts between those storms, so timing is half of doing it right. There is real pleasure in pulling out of a driveway just as it starts, with the yard finished behind you.
