About Turf NC

Summer afternoons here build a wall of cloud out past the fields, and when the rain comes it comes hard and moves straight on. Turf NC works the gaps between those storms — mowing while the ground will still carry a machine, catching the edges the mower has to leave, and blowing the cut grass off drives and walks. Grass in this bottom country grows with real ambition after a soaking, so return trips stay close together through July and August. The smell of a mown yard right after a coastal-plain rain is worth the whole day of chasing weather. That is the trade in Greene County: work the sky's schedule, and the lawns stay ahead.
