May's Cutting Edge Lawn Care

About May's Cutting Edge Lawn Care

August mornings in Grassy Creek still carry a chill, the kind that comes off the New River and settles in the hollows until the sun gets over the ridge. May's Cutting Edge Lawn Care works those cool hours first — mowing the high pasture-side yards, trimming the fence corners, edging the drives that run up out of the bottoms. Ashe County grass takes its time growing, which means a cut here lasts and deserves to be done carefully rather than quickly. Come autumn the hills turn over fast and the work shifts to leaves and a final tidy before the cold locks everything down. There is nothing like looking back at a mountain yard cut clean with the ridgeline standing behind it.
