About Tonio's Lawn Care Service LLC

By ten on a July Saturday the heat has already settled over the eastern side of the township, out where the roads run toward La Grange and the pavement shimmers between farms. Tonio's Lawn Care Service LLC is well into the day by then — mowing, trimming the hedge lines back square, edging the concrete, blowing every walk clean before moving on. Humid Wayne County air makes the grass grow thick and the shrubs grow faster, so shaping is as much of the job as cutting. In the cooler months the work turns to leaf clearing and putting properties back in order. The steady part is what makes it work: the same care given on the tenth visit as on the first.
