About DC Tree Cutting and Land Service

January is when the woods show their bones and a piece of ground can finally be read for what it is. DC Tree Cutting and Land Service works that season hard around Goldsboro — taking down trees that have outgrown their spot, clearing brush and undergrowth off ground that got away from somebody, opening a lot back up to light and mowing it into something usable. Out toward the sandy bluffs above the Neuse, where longleaf pine stands over broom sedge, a thicket can close over a field in a handful of years. Once the ground is turned back to grass, it gets kept cut and trimmed like any other yard. There is real satisfaction in standing at the road afterward and seeing straight through where you couldn't see ten feet.
