Constant Elevation

About Constant Elevation

Southeast of town the flat coastal plain finally does something dramatic: the ground stands up over the Neuse at the cliffs, and from up there the river looks like it has been carving patiently for a very long time. Constant Elevation takes its cue from that kind of steady change — a lawn lifted from shaggy to sharp, one cut at a time. Mowing, edging, trimming, cleanups after the leaves come down in October when the hardwoods along the water finally turn. Sloped yards, terraced beds and long open stretches all get handled the same careful way, top to bottom. In Goldsboro, that patient climb from unkempt to well-kept is the entire job.
