About Glisson Landscape & Design

Out in Duplin County the land lies flat and open — sweet-potato rows, tobacco ground going back to pine, the dark timber of Goshen Swamp holding the low places. Glisson Landscape & Design mows and edges through a season that starts in March and does not quit until the field mist turns cold in November. Snow is a rare guest this far into the coastal plain, and when a storm does swing down and stop the county for a day, the plow is out opening drives and cutting a path to the door before the ice hardens. Both jobs come to the same thing — a yard that looks looked-after, the lines even, the edges true, the way in clear. In between there is a great deal of Carolina sky to work under, and not much standing in the way of it.
