About Scotlyn's Yard Landscaping

Up at this elevation the growing season shows up late and leaves early, so every green week counts. Scotlyn's Yard Landscaping mows and trims the yards tucked into Glenville's coves, where rhododendron crowds the property line and the light comes sideways through hemlock by four in the afternoon. Rain builds over the ridge most summer days about then — loud, fast, half an hour — and by Thursday the grass has answered it. Keeping up is the whole art: an even pass, a trim line held tight to the stone, clippings off the walk before the next storm can scatter them. When October turns the coves gold, the work becomes leaves, gathered and hauled off ahead of the first hard frost.
