JHB Lawn and Land Maintenance

About JHB Lawn and Land Maintenance

Up in the Glade Creek township the pastures tilt, and a mower spends as much time on a slope as it does on the level. JHB Lawn and Land Maintenance works that ground — lawns cut and trimmed, fence lines cleared back, the rough edges of a place kept from swallowing it. Alleghany County stays cool enough that the grass keeps growing deep into October, long after the lowland counties have quit, so the mowing season runs right up against the first hard frosts. Beds are mulched, brush and clippings are hauled off, and the yard is left square. On a late-summer evening with the ridges going blue behind the barn, a mowed and edged place looks cared for, because it is.
