About High Country Lawncare

In Glade Creek the fog lifts off the pasture a full hour before it lets go of the water, and that hour is when the mowing gets done. Up on this shoulder of the Blue Ridge the grass grows slow and stubborn, so a cut has to be read rather than rushed. High Country Lawncare works the ridge yards and the creek-bottom lots with mowing, string trimming and edging that leave a line you can pick out from the road. When the maples let go all at once and the wind funnels down the draws, the job turns to leaves and limbs until the lawns look swept again. It is plain work, and there is real pleasure in standing at the mailbox afterward and looking back up the drive.
