About Elegant Drains,Herbicide, Pesticide and Landscaping

Piedmont clay does not forgive standing water, and after a long March rain you can read a Gibsonville yard by where the puddles sit. Elegant Drains, Herbicide, Pesticide and Landscaping starts right there — the low corner, the downspout dumping at the foundation, the swale that never quite carries. Drainage put right first, then the turf given what it needs: herbicide on the weeds, pesticide where the insects are working, mowing and landscaping to finish the picture. Grass grows where water can leave, and ground that used to squelch underfoot ends up firm and green and worth walking on. That sequence runs from Gibsonville through Elon, Whitsett and Burlington.
