About Berry's Lawn & Land

The Guilford–Alamance line runs straight through Gibsonville, and so does an older line between farm and neighborhood — pasture on one side of the road, a cul-de-sac on the other. Berry's Lawn & Land is at home on both. In March, when the fescue greens up ahead of everything else and the ground is finally firm enough to get on, the cutting starts and the season takes its shape. Regular mowing, trimming, edging and cleanup on the yards; brush knocked back and rough ground brought under control on the acreage. By May the difference reads from the road, which is exactly the point. The round runs through Gibsonville, Elon, Burlington and Whitsett.
