About Ramirez Lawn & Landscaping

Take the road toward Cherryville in June and the honeysuckle comes right up to the shoulder, the fields open on both sides, and the yards get bigger the farther out you go. Ramirez Lawn & Landscaping runs that corridor and the streets back in Gastonia alike, mowing the open acreage and then the tight town lots on the same day. Edges are cut back where the grass has crept over the concrete, the trimmer squares up around trees and posts, and everything loose is blown off the drive. There's a plain kind of pride in pulling away from a place that looked shaggy an hour ago and now looks kept. The Piedmont grows fast enough that the reward comes around again next week.
