About A Plus Lawn Care & Landscaping

Late in the afternoon the sun comes in sideways on the west side of Gastonia and turns the brick of the old Loray Mill the color of a ripe peach. The mill-village streets below it were laid out tight and walkable, small front yards squared off behind short driveways, and A Plus Lawn Care & Landscaping knows the measure of every one. Mowing and edging, string trimming, fresh mulch worked into the beds, shrubs shaped back off the porch rails, leaves hauled out when the sweetgums let go — the work fits the houses it serves. There is a particular satisfaction in a small yard done exactly right, where the mulch line curves the way it was meant to and nothing spills onto the sidewalk. Rain moves through this county in warm bands that green everything overnight, and the crew is back out the moment the ground will hold a wheel. Block by block, the neighborhood keeps looking cared for.
