About Newland Landscaping

February is the honest month out toward Bessemer City, where the ridgeline toward Kings Mountain stands bare and every yard shows exactly what it has. Newland Landscaping likes that season for what it makes possible: shrubs cut back while the structure is visible, beds cleared and re-mulched, the leftovers of winter storms hauled off before anything starts growing over them. When the ground warms, the same properties move onto the mowing cycle — cutting, edging, trimming, weeds handled before they set seed. An ice glaze or a sudden cold snap can rearrange a week around here, and the work simply picks back up. Doing the dormant-season jobs well is why the spring looks effortless. By the first real green week the yards are already ahead, and it shows from the road.
