The Jewel Lawn Care

About The Jewel Lawn Care

The Schiele Museum keeps the county's rocks and minerals under glass, and in late October the light outside does something similar to the yards around Gastonia — low, warm, striking color out of ordinary grass. The Jewel Lawn Care works that season hard, because a lawn cut and edged in autumn light is about as good as a lawn ever looks. Mowing, edging and trimming carry through the fall, and then the leaves come down and get cleared off before they smother the turf underneath. It's careful work, done to a finish, on properties large and small alike. Every yard has a version of itself worth uncovering, and that is what the visits are for.
