About Gwinn Lawn Care LLC

East of town the South Fork Catawba runs low under a late-October fog that burns off by mid-morning, and the whole river corridor gives up its leaves within about three weeks. Gwinn Lawn Care LLC works that stretch of the calendar hard — leaves cleared off turf before they mat and smother it, beds and fence lines cleaned out, the whole property hauled empty and left open to the light. The rest of the year is the steady part: mowing, edging, trimming, mulch in the spring, clippings blown off the drive every visit. Gaston County lawns take a beating from summer humidity, and a yard that goes into winter clean comes out of it in far better shape. There is something worth savoring about the last cut of the season, low and even, with the air finally cold enough to see your breath. Then the wait for green, which around here never lasts as long as you expect.
