G & T Lawn Care

About G & T Lawn Care

The freight lines still run straight through Gastonia, and anybody loading a trailer before six on an August morning will hear one go by in the dark. G & T Lawn Care is out at that hour on purpose — the coolest part of a Carolina day belongs to the people willing to claim it. By the time the sun is over the rooftops the first yards are already mowed, edged, trimmed out and blown clean, the clippings off the concrete and the gate latched behind them. Grass here grows fast and it grows all summer, so the route runs on a set cycle and the cycle holds. Hedges get shaped, debris gets carried off, and beds stay clear of whatever the wind delivered. It is plain, honest work, and a straight-cut lawn on a hot morning is a genuinely satisfying thing to stand back and look at.
