Along the eastern side of the county the South Fork Catawba moves slow and green under the sycamores, and the bottomland it feeds grows grass faster than anywhere else around. Deep Rooted Lawn & Landscaping takes its cue from that ground: what shows on top depends on what is going on underneath. So the mowing is done at a height that lets the turf hold its own through a July that gets hot and stays hot, and the trimming follows the shape of the yard instead of fighting it. Beds get their borders cut clean, walks get blown off, and the whole place is left looking like it was meant to look that way. In fall the river bottom lets go of its leaves in one long week, and they get hauled out before the lawn ever feels the weight.
