About Lawn Buds

In June the magnolias at Lineberger Park throw shade thick enough to stand in, and the grass under them grows thin and slow while everything in the open runs wild. Lawn Buds reads a yard that way — every lawn has its shady corner and its sunny stretch, and the mower height and the trimmer line should know the difference. Mowing, edging and trimming go around the whole property, swing sets and stepping stones included, and the clippings get moved off the walks so bare feet stay clean. It's the sort of work you notice most on a Saturday afternoon when nobody has to think about the yard at all. That's the point of it.
