Big Greens Lawn Care

About Big Greens Lawn Care

Fog lies flat on Rankin Lake most spring mornings until the sun clears the pines and lifts it off the water in one sheet. That is the light Big Greens Lawn Care works in — early, unhurried, the mower leaving two shades of the same color across a waking yard. Grass comes on fast in this part of Gaston County once April warms the ground, and keeping up with it means showing up on the same day every week, rain shadow or no. Edges get cut back to the pavement, string trimmer work goes in tight around mailbox posts and fence corners, and every blade that lands on the sidewalk gets moved back where it belongs. The name says green, and green is the whole errand.
