About GroundsOne Landscape Contractors

Sleet on U.S. 70 sounds like sand thrown against a windshield, and it means the night is going to be a long one. GroundsOne Landscape Contractors runs the commercial side of Garner through it — the office parks and shopping lots off Timber Drive plowed in wide passes, entrances and fire lanes opened, sidewalks cleared and treated before the doors unlock. Ice is the real adversary in this part of Wake County; a wet Tuesday becomes a hard Wednesday, and every shaded curb cut has to be salted twice. Snow gets stacked where it will not melt back across the lanes or eat up the good parking. By eight in the morning the lots look ordinary again, and looking ordinary is the entire goal.
