About Sweet Magnolias Landscaping

A May morning in Gardners starts with dew heavy enough to soak a boot and the smell of cut grass carrying clear across the fields. Sweet Magnolias Landscaping is out early, mowing while the ground is still cool, trimming close around mailbox posts and porch steps, edging the drive until the line is sharp enough to follow with a finger. Beds are weeded and mulched dark, and the clippings get blown off the walk before anyone's coffee is finished. As the year turns, the work turns with it — leaves and pine straw cleared, the yard squared away for winter. All of it aims at one small moment: somebody pulling into the drive, looking at the place, and feeling glad to be home.
