About Snell Tree Experts LLC

Fuquay-Varina keeps two downtowns and one long road between them, and in summer the thunderheads stack over the Piedmont all afternoon before letting go somewhere around supper. Loblollies grow fast in this sandy loam — fast enough to lean over a new roof in a decade — and that is where Snell Tree Experts LLC spends its days. They take down pines that have crept too close, lift and thin crowns for light and airflow, and prune young hardwoods so the shade over a porch grows the right direction. When a squall line or a February ice load strips limbs across a street, they cut it apart and clear it to the curb until the pavement reads clean. There is a particular pleasure in the last pass of the rake, when a yard finally looks like nothing ever happened to it.
