Ben's Yard Care

About Ben's Yard Care

Fremont keeps a low, wide horizon — farm rows running out until a line of pines closes them off, and a sky that does most of the talking. Ben's Yard Care makes its rounds in the cool hour after sunrise, while dew still weighs down the blades and the heat is only a rumor. Mowing, trimming, edging: plain work, done until a yard reads well from the road. The best part is the last pass, when the clippings come off the walk and the turf lies even all the way to the mailbox. Wayne County summers are long and generous to grass, so the rhythm holds week after week from spring into fall.
