Distinct Lawns

About Distinct Lawns

A Franklinton lawn shows its stripes best in the late afternoon, when the light comes in low over the rooftops and every pass the mower made stands up clear. Distinct Lawns chases exactly that — mowing at a height the summer can live with, trimming close around foundations and trees, and an edge along the drive so clean the red clay stops right where it should. Nothing about it is complicated; it is simply done the same way every single week, which is the only way a yard holds its look. In these transition-zone summers, cutting high and cutting often is what keeps turf from surrendering by August. The name says the aim plainly: a yard that does not look like the one beside it.
