3 J's Mowing & Maintenance

About 3 J's Mowing & Maintenance

Franklinton wakes early along the old mill blocks, where narrow yards run right up to the porch steps and the light comes in sideways through the pines. 3 J's Mowing & Maintenance works those mornings — deck spinning, dew still silver on the fescue, the smell of cut grass rising before the day gets heavy. Mowing, trimming and edging are the whole of it, done in the same order every visit until a yard learns its own shape. There is a real satisfaction in the last pass, when the walk is blown clean and the line between grass and sidewalk is sharp enough to read from the street. It is ordinary work, and Franklinton is a fine small town to do it in.
