About Shaddai Tree Services & Landscaping, LLC

The older streets in Franklin carry big trees — oaks and maples that throw shade all summer and then throw everything else down in late September. Shaddai Tree Services & Landscaping, LLC keeps the lawns underneath them, which is its own puzzle: thin grass in deep shade, roots riding close to the surface, leaves arriving faster than anyone can keep pace with. Mowing, trimming, edging and clearing, timed so the turf gets light and air before cold weather sets in. Fall color here is a spectacle from a distance and a chore from a lawn chair, and handling the chore is the job. A raked, cut yard under a half-bare maple is a sight worth the trouble.
