Michael's Tree Services

About Michael's Tree Services

By late October the Cowee ridges above Franklin turn every color a hardwood knows, and the wind that follows takes the weak limbs with it. Michael's Tree Services reads a tree before touching it: where the lean is, where the rot hides, which branch is quietly carrying the whole crown. They remove trees crowded against a house or a barn, trim what overhangs a mountain road, and prune shaded hardwoods so light reaches the yard again. When ice loads the hemlocks and something gives at two in the morning, the work that follows is patient — cut, drag, stack, rake, repeat. What they leave behind is a lot that looks cared for rather than merely cleared.
