About Mendoza Tree Expert

Morning in Franklin comes on slowly: the Little Tennessee lies under a sheet of valley fog until the sun finds a way over the ridge and burns it off. On these slopes a tree is never standing on level ground, and everything — the rope, the notch, the direction of the drop — has to account for the fall of the mountain. Mendoza Tree Expert removes trees where there is no easy room for them to go, trims crowns back off roofs and lines, and prunes with an eye to how a hardwood will carry ice come January. After a storm rakes the coves, driveways and pasture fences come first, because that is what gets a household moving again. The reward is a hillside left tidy, the wood cut to length, and the view opened back toward Nantahala.
