Melgar's Complete Tree Services

About Melgar's Complete Tree Services

Along Cleghorn Creek the sycamores hold the bank and the water stays cold well into spring. Melgar's Complete Tree Services keeps the trees around Rutherfordton's yards, pastures and back lanes in order, taking out what has died or crowded in, trimming canopies away from roofs and utility runs, and pruning young hardwoods so they grow into a shape worth keeping. Storms in this pocket of the foothills can arrive hard and be gone in ten minutes, leaving tops down and fences pinned, and the crew stays until the ground is clear. April here smells like cut grass and green wood, and the days run long and good. Every job ends the same plain way — the brush gone and a lawn you can walk straight across.
