DRS Land Management

About DRS Land Management

Out toward the Second Broad River the lots get wide, and a yard stops being a yard and becomes acreage — an acre of fescue around the house, rough ground beyond it, a fence line that wants to grow up in briars by August. DRS Land Management takes the mowing at that scale: the kept lawn cut and edged close to the house, the open ground held down, the borders trimmed back so the property has a shape again. River-bottom soil grows everything fast, weeds included, which is the entire argument for a schedule. There is something plain and satisfying about standing out at the road afterward and seeing exactly where the land ends and the lawn begins.
