Pretty City Lawns

About Pretty City Lawns

Arnette Park runs along the Cape Fear on the south side of Fayetteville, all open green and river light, and a well-kept front yard borrows a little of the same feeling. Pretty City Lawns aims straight at the view from the street: mowing, sharp edging along curb and walk, trimming, a full clearing, and beds kept weeded under fresh mulch or pine straw. Shrub shaping keeps the front of a house from slowly disappearing behind itself. In spring the azaleas handle the loud part, and the lawn's job is to be the calm ground beneath them. A block where a few yards get this treatment starts pulling the whole street up with it.
