About Ground Pounders Landscaping, Inc

Out past the city line toward Eastover and Wade the yards get bigger and the cicadas get louder, and by two on an August afternoon the heat sits on the fields like a hand. Ground Pounders Landscaping, Inc keeps the mowing going through it — big-lot cutting, edging along the drive and the road front, trimming fence lines and tree rings, and cleanups when the season turns everything loose at once. There is a rhythm to a large lawn: the long passes first, the perimeter last, then the blower until nothing is left on the concrete. Cumberland County grows grass hard from spring to frost, and it is steady weekly work that keeps a place from going shaggy between rains. The best part is the look back from the road at the end of it.
