About Cooke Landscaping LLC

Little Contentnea Creek moves slow at the edge of town, dark under the willow oaks, and the ground it left behind is the sandy loam nearly every Farmville yard is built on. Cooke Landscaping LLC reads that soil for a living — where water sits after a storm, where shade wins by August, where a bed needs cutting back before October. Autumn arrives politely here: the heat loosens, the light goes long and gold over the open fields, and lawns finally stop outrunning the mower. That is the season for cleanups, for edging beds down to a clean line, for hauling off everything summer dropped. By the time the first real cold slides in from the northwest, the yard is squared away and ready to rest.
