Gonzalez Lawn Care

About Gonzalez Lawn Care

August afternoons build a thunderhead over Little Pisgah, and everybody in Fairview learns to read it. Gonzalez Lawn Care reads it too, pushing through the mowing while the light still holds, trimming and edging in that heavy pressure that runs ahead of rain. Some days the storm takes the last twenty minutes; more often the yard is finished, the drive blown off, and the first fat drops land on grass already standing straight. Afterward the whole valley smells like cut green and wet stone. It is a good hour to be doing lawn work in these mountains.
