About Floyd's Tree Experts, Inc.

Fairmont sits low and open in Robeson County, where the fields run flat to the horizon and a summer storm announces itself a full hour before it lands. Water oaks and pecans lean over the old warehouse streets, and out toward the Lumber River the pines stand dark against a wide sky. Floyd's Tree Experts, Inc. works this country tree by tree, taking down what has grown into a roofline, thinning a crown so wind can pass through instead of pushing against it, shaping young limbs so they will hold later. When weather pushes up from the coast and leaves a yard unrecognizable, they arrive with saws and a plan and give the place its shape back. There is real satisfaction in a yard opened up by lunchtime and a brush pile stacked square at the road.
