Weed Wackerz

About Weed Wackerz

Emerald Isle is a sandbar with houses on it — Bogue Sound on one side, the Atlantic on the other, and a steady salt wind that decides what will and will not grow. Centipede and St. Augustine hang on here; sand spurs and volunteer weeds try for everything else. Weed Wackerz mows and trims across the island, cuts clean edges along drives and walkways where the sand keeps creeping back over them, knocks down weeds in beds and along fencelines, keeps shrubs off the boardwalks and clears leaves and blown debris out of the yard after a blow. The satisfaction is coastal and specific: a lawn squared up, the sea oats left alone, the walkway swept bare all the way to the dune crossing.
