About The Tree's Knees LLC

Come October the hills around Elkin turn all at once — sourwood first, then maple, then the oaks going rust and holding on into November. The Tree's Knees LLC spends that season with its head tipped back: trimming and shaping, taking down what is dead or leaning wrong, cutting up storm limbs, hauling brush off, and leaving the yard raked and the lawn ready for the leaf drop still to come. Removals get handled carefully where a tree stands close to a roof or a fence, with the ground crew working right along beneath. It is a job that mixes rope work with raking, and the raking matters every bit as much. The last look is always upward, at the good limbs left standing, before the truck pulls away.
