About Ramirez Tree Care LLC

Late summer in Surry County is heat and haze, rows of vines running along the foothills and the Blue Ridge standing low and blue off in the distance. Ramirez Tree Care works those slopes and the open places around Elkin — taking out hardwoods that have died standing, trimming limbs back from barns, sheds and drives, pruning shade trees so they carry a full crown instead of a broken one. Removal on a hillside is mostly a planning job: where the tree will go, where the wood will go, and how to leave the grass unmarked when it is over. Thunderheads build over the ridge on August afternoons and can put a limb through a roof in ten minutes, so the cleanup calls often come the same evening. What the work leaves behind is space, light, and a yard that mows clean end to end.
