Undercutter Tree Service

About Undercutter Tree Service

Elizabeth City faces the Pasquotank, and the river brings its weather in sideways — nor'easters off the Albemarle that shove water up the docks and lean on every tree in town. Undercutter Tree Service works that flat, wet country between the waterfront and the edge of the swamp, where live oaks spread wide, pines run tall, and roots sit in soil that never entirely dries. Removals here turn on soft ground and tight lots; trimming lifts limbs off roofs and lines before storm season comes to test them; pruning keeps the old downtown shade trees holding their shape over the sidewalks. After a blow, the job is clearing drives and yards so a block can get back to ordinary, wood stacked and debris gone. Putting a waterfront yard back in order after a hard night on the sound is a good day's work.
