Sharp Cuts

About Sharp Cuts

Autumn near the university has a tempo all its own — cooler mornings, the grass finally slowing, leaves beginning to gather along the curb. Sharp Cuts mows, edges and trims in Elizabeth City, and the name is really a promise about geometry: even stripes, square corners, a border that never wanders. Fall cleanup matters more here than people expect, because a lawn buried under leaves goes into winter thin. So the leaves come off, the height comes down, and the yard gets set up for what spring will ask of it. There is a particular pleasure in leaving a lot looking sharper than it did on arrival.
