The Sand Extractor

About The Sand Extractor

Dig anywhere around Elizabeth City and you hit sand before you hit much else, a pale coastal-plain grit that drains fast and drifts where the wind wants it. The Sand Extractor works with that ground rather than against it, mowing at heights the turf can actually hold, trimming and edging where sandy shoulders keep blurring the line, and clearing the sand and clippings that collect along drives and walks. On soil like this a lawn that looks even is a lawn somebody paid attention to. Late spring, when the days stretch out and everything greens at once, is when the difference shows most. Elizabeth City is home base, with Camden, Weeksville and Shiloh close behind.
