About Hashim Albarati’s lawn care and landscaping

First light on the tidewater plain comes up pink and low, and every blade in the yard is beaded with dew before the heat arrives around ten. Hashim Albarati's lawn care and landscaping starts in that cool window, when the mower rolls quiet through the neighborhood and the cut sets clean instead of tearing. Mowing, trimming and edging come first; then the beds get weeded, the shrubs get shaped, and the walks get cleared of every last clipping. Elizabeth City summers are long and generous to anything green, which means the work is a conversation that keeps going from March to November. Yards in Camden, Weeksville and Nixonton fall on the same routes.
