About 84 Lawncare Services

South of town the land goes wide and flat toward Weeksville, where the old hangars stand against a sky that seems twice as tall as it does anywhere else. 84 Lawncare Services works that open country and the streets of Elizabeth City alike, mowing, edging and trimming until a yard reads as clean as a plowed row. Wind comes off the fields all afternoon out here, and a lawn cut with the grain holds its pattern in the light. There is a real satisfaction in the last pass, when the mower shuts off and everything goes quiet except the pines. Leaves get hauled, corners get squared, and the place is handed back better than it was found.
