Peters and Sons Lawn Care

About Peters and Sons Lawn Care

Elevation sits on the low rise of southwestern Johnston County, where the fields run flat and open toward Benson and a dark line of pines holds the edge of nearly every property. Peters and Sons Lawn Care works the long growing season here, out early while dew still beads on the bermuda and the heat has not yet lifted off the sandy loam. Summer afternoons pull thunderheads up from the west, so the mowing gets finished in morning light, and the trimming follows fence rows and mailbox posts clean as a chalk line. Come fall, when the hardwoods let go and pine straw drifts against the steps, they come back through for leaf cleanup and cut the edges sharp again along drives and walks. There is a real satisfaction in a yard that looks finished — stripes laid straight, the concrete blown clear, nothing left to do but sit on the porch and look at it.
